Following on from this he continued his Obstetrics and Gynaecology studies with a residency at the University of Zagreb and finished his Masters degree of Ultrasound in Clinical Medicine in 1992. On returning to Indonesia, he spent 22 years at the Maternal Fetal Division Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Indonesia. Since becoming a specialist in OB/GYN, dr. Nurwansyah has been active in the field of Feto-Maternal and has attended several fetomaternal training programs in Denmark and Australia.
