Dr. Benny Johan A. Marpaung, Sp.OG

Dr. Benny Johan Marpaung or dr. BJM as he is affectionately known, is a board certified OB/GYN specialist who has been in practice since 2010.
 
Dr. Benny graduated as a Medical Doctor and also completed his OB/GYN specialist training at the University of North Sumatera. He is a member of the Indonesian Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (POGI) and the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI). 

Dr. Benny’s special interest is in fetal and maternal medicine, including screening and caring for high risk pregnancies and also for reproductive medicine and infertility.

He has taken part in several training and courses at its expertise in Indonesia and other countries. He is also experienced in managing and treating several rare cases with team. He is a member of International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) for USG and the care of high risk pregnancies. 

This humble and kind-smiling-doctor loves to sing and is a talented musician, able to play a number of instruments, including piano, keyboard and guitar. His favorite kind of music is classical and pop music and he advocates the benefits of music therapy during pregnancy especially for stimulating babies.
