Jovita Adyarani Murhanjati, M.Psi., Psikolog

Jovita is a Registered Psychologist with the Himpunan Psikologi Indonesia (HIMPSI) and Ikatan Psikolog Klinis (IPK). 

She majored in Clinical Child Psychology and has both a Bachelors degree and Masters in Psychology from Soegijapranata Catholic University, Semarang with an additional minor in Educational Psychology. This has been further enhanced with a program of educational psychology in behavioural and social sciences at Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Jovita has several years’ experience as a teacher in early childhood and special needs education. She works along with parents, teachers, paediatricians, physiatrist and therapists helping children with developmental and psychological issues. She provides psychological assessment and intervention for children and adolescents who experience behavioural, emotional, learning and social communication challenges. 

Jovita is also a certified ABA practitioner and behaviour modification therapist helping children with developmental issues such as autism, intellectual disability, language impairment, ADHD, hearing problems and sensory processing disorders as well as children with psychological issues such as selective mutism, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder and bipolar disorders.

In everyday life, Jovita finds joy in music, reading, swimming, practicing mindfulness and her more recently found passion for writing. She is currently authoring a book sharing her daily life experiences teaching special needs children.
